As you've no doubt guessed, I'm ecstatic about it.  A Pirate of Her Own is the culmination of years of hard work and perserverance.  I suppose my mother's old saying is true--the harder you work for something the more you appreciate it.  Of course, that's one thing about us Celts, we're full of old sayings. 

We also like to talk!  No, you're not in trouble.  I promise not to bore you with too many personal details (although I'm also a Southerner which gives me a double whammy of loving to talk & socialize).

In my more normal realm, I'm the mother of two young sons who are the most
wonderful little devils to ever grace the earth. I also have a precious Himalayan cat that is too lovable for words and a rambunctious Australian Shepherd who thinks my cat is snack food--her favorite snack food to be precise.

I have a lot of different hobbies, but I guess my top favorites are crocheting, quilting, reading, and photography. Plus I can cook a pot of chili so mean, it's guaranteed to make a polar bear sweat.
